Your therapist has over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry.  Rebecca has worked in salons, day spas and worked for the 5-star Fota Island hotel & spa resort in Cork, Ireland. Rebecca worked for Clinique a premium skincare brand as a Skincare specialist for 5 years before progressing to become a Make-up Artist for Charlotte Tilbury and helping them open their first flagship store in London. Rebecca then started her journey as an Aesthetics therapist and has been working in the aesthetic industry for over 6 years gaining experience in the latest and advanced skincare and aesthetic treatments.

 

Rebecca has also completed a Diploma in Nutrition for food allergies and food intolerances due to the increased skin concerns & chronic inflammation cases she was seeing in the clinic relating to poor gut health, allergies and food intolerances. Rebecca is also a Practioner for the no.1 UK allergy, food intolerance, vitamin deficiency & hormonal blood tests which are sent to a lab to test for the underlying issues causing skin conditions & hormonal imbalances. Rebecca works with different supplement brands (CYTO PLAN, BARE BIOLOGY, YOUR BODHI UK & SYNERGY WORLDWIDE) to help with poor gut health, hormones, inflammation and vitamin deficiency which improves skin conditions.

When starting up RP Beauty Clinic I wanted to give my clients exactly what they were asking for.

Many of my clients were paying a lot of money for products and treatments that they were saying were not effective and not working. This is because the products being used are superficial and do not contain the right active ingredients. Although a lovely relaxing facial with lots of massage is great most of my clients want to see the benefits and results they are paying for. Most of the treatments I provided greatly improve conditions and are more effective than other superficial treatments, in order to achieve the results you want there can be some redness, downtime and aftercare must be followed!  Most treatments require a patch test, consultation and medical forms and consent must be signed before treatments can commence.  I do not treat any clients that are contra-indicated and follow strict protocols regarding insurance, infection control and COVID 19 guidelines. I am a fully qualified NVQ 4 Aesthetic therapist, NVQ 4 SPMU and Microblading technician. I have completed Core of knowledge laser training and have over 6 years of experience in treating all skin types with different laser wavelengths. I have completed relevant training in all treatments I offer and hold a council licence with Watford borough council to perform SPMU treatments. I have a Diploma in Nutrition for Allergies and food intolerances. I am a practitioner for York blood tests and work with many premium supplement brands. I am also a Synergy life coach for the amazing 21-day gut detox.

Why Aesthetic treatments are different from normal beauty treatments.

As you age your skin starts to slow down and so does the cell renewal rate, therefore we must kick-start them again. (stimulate the fibroblasts) To do this you need to use products with AHA’s, deeper exfoliation, Retinol, Active Serums, Hydroquinone, Salicylic Acid and Benzoyl Peroxide.

Some of the most common conditions I see regularly are clients suffering from acne and pigmentation. These conditions are not easily treated and sometimes other factors like diet, allergies, food intolerances, leaky gut, poor nutrition, deficiencies, sun exposure and hormones are contributing factors.

Hair growth and hair loss is another major issue with lots of us wanting to get rid of unwanted hair. Our Nd Yag machine is one of the best and is suitable for all skin types including Asian and black skin. For those of us with less hair growth, Microblading or Semi-permanent brows are perfect for those wanting fuller, improved brow shape along with hair growth serums that help speed up the growth process and maintain healthy lashes and brows.

Acne scarring can be treated with mesotherapy and micro-needling to rebuild the scars and chemical peels help to treat Acne, lighten pigmentation and speed up the exfoliation process of the cells to produce new healthy cells. The New Pro-hydra facial combines fruit acids to exfoliate and deep clean the pores and there is also RF frequency, ION lifting, high frequency and ultrasound to help stimulate collagen, lift sagging jowls and plumb and hydrate the skin.
